As of today, Dissonant have a new client. The Australian Paranormal Society have contracted us to build a new website based on jQuery and mediaWiki. Work on Endal is also going strong with most features nearing completion. A page will be created shortly.
A different avenue of work
A new contract has begun with another company to provide administrative software. However since no commission exists to write exclusively, the program will be released under the Dissonant brand and sold at a fair price with a subscription (namely for product updates and data backup). More details will be posted once the program is nearing completion. The project is named Endal.
Dissonant Designs 2010
I thought (after about 4 years) that it was time for my company website to under-go a "Web 2.0 Refresh" considering every other website out there uses more JavaScript than is necessary. So this is it, take a look around. It's about 2 hours worth of work.
More work and server changes.
Currently designing a website for an up-and-coming online computer store, building it around a heavily modified version of osCommerce. Tricky to work with, but highly modular although their addons database needs a lot of work. I'll update the portfolio once the site is live. This site will soon be undergoing a much-needed redesign too, something a bit more "Web 2.0+". Probably a dash of jQuery here and some nice new illustrations to liven things up.
Additionally, the recent issues with the rsnode1.mel server have been cleared up and shouldn't be a cause for anymore down-time.
